TrueClays is a state-of-the-art shooting simulator which pushes the absolute boundaries of today’s technology to deliver a transparent environment that accurately simulates clay shooting for real at the range.

TrueClays operates at such high accuracy and speed, shot patterns and hit areas are guaranteed to be the same as, or within the tolerances of an actual shotgun, regardless of discipline (including the faster Olympic ones).

TrueClays knows even the slightest error in target presentation will cause your brain to doubt that you are seeing a ‘real target’. The immersive TrueClays experience is designed to make the shooter feel that they are shooting on a real range, for example, there will be a clear difference when moving from one side of the stand to the other.

TrueClays processes information about the target so quickly that it not only determines a hit or a miss, and whether the target was hit on the front or rear edge or top or bottom but also sends the broken pieces of the clay in the correct direction upon impact so that the brain learns instantly and all in real time.

As you learn from the real time feedback and start performing micro-corrections, your training will develop unhindered and lead to your full potential without shooting a single live shot!

The speed and accuracy of the simulator is impressive, and once you activate other features, such as, fragments from broken clays and distractions from other ranges including the sound of other shooters calling for and shooting targets, you soon realise how your training has the edge over other simulators. You can go much further by adjusting the wind conditions and direction and by selecting the trap manufacturer with its real-life sound. This is particularly useful when preparing for a competition at a specific range. To really test your focus and concentration, you can minimise the sound of the trap altogether!

The simulator offers multiple backgrounds from simple, high contrast to ‘messy’ real life moving backgrounds which create more complicated challenges.

Actual ranges are simulated in 3D, like this one at Larnaca, Cyprus, with new ranges being added all the time.

Additionally, TrueClays allows shooters to change chokes and select from a range of cartridges to replicate real set-up conditions. Your cartridge of choice can be configured in the system, while training with tighter chokes is a great way to learn and refine the correct lead.

TrueClays does not simulate random stray pellets that break targets, only genuine hits will produce the desired result so that poor technique is not rewarded.

TrueClays is regularly updated with new features and software updates and the system is under continuous development to improve the experience.
